Episode 1: Major Ogilvie was a powerful runner for Paul “Bear” Bryant’s Crimson Tide from 1977-80, and one of the most popular players of the wishbone era. Ogilvie, a native of Mountain Brook, played on teams that captured two national championships and three SEC titles. He became the first player in college football history to score a touchdown in four consecutive New Year’s Day bowl games.
